Child Safety Standards

Witit has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards apply to every account, plan, group, message, photo, and other use of Witit.

Prohibited conduct and content

Witit prohibits creating, uploading, sharing, requesting, promoting, or facilitating content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a child. This includes:

• CSAM or any sexualized depiction of a minor.
• Grooming or attempting to build trust with a child for sexual exploitation.
• Sextortion, threats, or blackmail involving a child or a child’s intimate imagery.
• Trafficking, solicitation, or arranging the sexual exploitation of a child.
• Using Witit to encourage, coordinate, or conceal any form of CSAE.

Reporting a concern

People can report a profile, plan, photo, or individual chat message from the place where it appears in Witit. Reports go to Witit’s private safety-review queue. A concern can also be sent through Witit Support by choosing Safety concern.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement first.

How Witit responds

Witit reviews safety reports promptly and takes action based on the report, available evidence, these standards, and applicable law. Action may include restricting or disabling accounts, removing content, limiting access, and preserving a limited record when reasonably necessary for safety, abuse prevention, an existing report, or legal compliance.

When Witit obtains actual knowledge of confirmed CSAM, Witit removes or disables access to it and reports it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children CyberTipline or the appropriate regional or national authority as required by applicable law. Witit cooperates with lawful requests from relevant authorities.
